Banning EntertainmentPhotography is not a crime. August 25 Photographers Rights I have been reading many instances of photographers rights being ignored or even stomped on. So, under "Links I Like" I have put a couple websites with your rights as a photographer spelled out (whether professional or amateur). Bert Krages' site has a downloadable guide which you can put in your camera bag, to always have it with you. July 17 On The LeftThis is really annoying me.  There are so many bicyclist, not just on campus but in town. I want to know what happened to the courtesy of telling pedestrians you are riding up on which side you're passing on? When you're walking you can (sometimes) hear the bike coming but you can't tell which side they're planning to take. And if you can't hear the bike all-of-a-sudden there's a bike right next to you. I have only had one biker (since I've been in Ithaca) say 'On the left'. Done venting. Now I'll go back out and try not to move to my left as a bike is passing. July 03 Is it summer? I see the last time I blogged I was so excited it was cooling off. Now with summer in Ithaca it's not even 70. Big difference from Scottsdale.  Watched the fireworks last night (yes on July 2). Ithaca does not have fireworks on the 4th because it's cheaper to have them on the 2nd.  Kinda weird. But they did look nice. |
